Twitter tile functionality was relying on the Twitter Widget feature that was deprecated by Twitter earlier this year.
Starting on version 3.7.3.27 all your existent twitter tiles will be converted into link tiles as shown in the image below.
To replace this functionality we've released the Social web part with support not only for Twitter but also Facebook, Yammer, Instagram and Pinterest.
