On this guide, we'll review the steps to install/uninstall for the BindTuning Web Part. This process is applied to all the BindTuning Web Part using the SandBox.

Requirements
- SharePoint 2013/2016 or SharePoint Online.
- Site Collection Administration rights.
- An active BindTuning Web Parts subscription or trial.
Downloading/Update Web Part on BindTuning
- Login to your BindTuning account at BindTuning;
- Mouse over the gravatar and select the My Downloads;
- Select the Web Part tab;
- Mouse over the desired Web Part and View webpart details. If an update is available will show the blue pulsing icon and proceed as follows, otherwise move to step 5;
- Click the Update to version X.X.X.X button to get the latest Web Part files;
- Click to Download the Web Part;
Download the WSP
The .Zip will contain 3 different packaging options, both following Microsoft Add-In guidelines:
- For Classic Experience:
- APP: for tenants with a configured APP Catalog or APP store.
- WSP: SandBox solution (recomended).
- For Modern Experience:
- SPFx.
Install the Web Part
per Site Collection
- Open Site Settings at the root of your site collection
- Select Solutions, under Web Design Galleries
You need to activate the Custom Script to see the Solutions. Please have a look at the next article to activate this option.
- On the tool bar click Upload Solution and select the installation .wsp file (eg.
BTXXX_x.x.x.x.wsp
) - As soon as the upload is complete, click on Activate and wait for the page to refresh.
Uninstall the Web Part
per Site Collection
- Open Site Settings at the root of your site collection
- Select Solutions, under Web Design Galleries
- Select the already existing web part solution and Deactivate it
- Once it finishes deactivating, Delete the solution from the gallery
Update the Web Part
per Site Collection
- Open Site Settings at the root of your site collection
- Select Solutions, under Web Design Galleries
- Select the already existing web part solution and Deactivate it
- Once it finishes deactivating, Delete the solution from the gallery
- On the tool bar click Upload Solution and select the installation .wsp file (ex.
BTXXX_x.x.x.x.wsp
) - As soon as the upload is complete, click on Activate and wait for the page to refresh.
