If you are experiencing jQuery issues after installing BindTuning skins, you may need to update DNN's jQuery version.
Possible issues due to jQuery conflicts:
- Manage buttons not clickable (DNN 6)
- Slider doesn’t work
- Submenu options are not displayed
- Dropdown/select elements cannot be opened
- Accordion/collapse items cannot be opened or closed
DNN7 users:
- Go to Host > Host Settings > Advanced Settings tab
- Locate jQuery Settings
- If the Installed jQuery Version is less than 1.9.1, we recommend changing jQuery and jQuery UI versions as follows:
Hosted jQuery URL://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.9.1/jquery.min.js
Hosted jQuery UI URL://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.10.3/jquery-ui.min.js - Check "Use Hosted jQuery Version?" option
DNN6 users:
- Go to Host > Host Settings > Advanced Settings tab
- Locate jQuery Settings
- We recommend changing jQuery and jQuery UI versions as follows:
Hosted jQuery URL://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.3/jquery.min.js
Hosted jQuery UI URL://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.24/jquery-ui.min.js - Check "Use Hosted jQuery Version?" option
DNN5 users:
- Go to Host > Host Settings > Advanced Settings tab
- Locate jQuery Settings
- We recommend changing jQuery version as follows:

- Click update to save
Using Interface theme, in DNN 6.x when I check Hosted Jquery it no longer drops down the menu boxes.
It loads so badly , that the screen looks like HTML from 1992 until it loads the CSS, etc. This is the trial version, but I can't buy something that looks like this.

Since trials perform several validations they usually load slower.
But this will not happen when you request your final theme.
