BindMENU 2.0 for BindTuning Themes

Now supporting more menu styles, with better animation and customization options, the new Bind Menu for BindTuning theme’s new menu suits the most demanding requirements.

Animations

You can now control the type, speed and fly-in method of our submenu animations. These options allow the user to have an unprecedented level of animation control inside SharePoint.

Navigation Item Limiter

Are vast amounts of menu items clogging up your menu? The new Bind Menu includes a new feature that allows you to set a maximum number of navigation items and all the remaining ones will be hidden away inside their own sub-menu.

Sidebar Width

In large screens, we’ve come across a problem where the sidebar occupies way too much space on our workspace due to bootstrap’s grid limitations. So we’ve made it customizable, now you can select either a normal or a slimmer version of the sidebar.

Off-canvas Sidebar

Another issue with the sidebar is that it doesn’t collapse on mobile like our horizontal navigation. Well, now it does. We’ve created a universal method to hide away the sidebar either on phone or tablet that safely tucks its away off-screen and accessible by the press of a button.

Collapsible Menu

All our themes will be updated to use bootstrap’s collapsible menu, select menus on mobile will become deprecated.

Style	string	`Default`	`Default`, `MegaMenu`, `Accordion`	The Style parameter allows you to define the menu style you want to use with your theme. You can choose between Default (Horizontal and Vertical), MegaMenu or Accordion.
EventTrigger	string	`Hover`	`Hover`, `Click`	With EventTrigger, events that will cause the show and hide of the menu options. Can only be `hover` or `clicked`. If the `EventTrigger` parameter is omitted, the default value is used.
Speed	string	`Normal`	`Fast`, `Normal`, `Hover`	With Speed you can control the speed of your submenu animations.
Appear	string	`Right`	`Left`, `Right`, `Top`, `Bottom`	Allows you to control the point of origin of the submenu as it appears on the screen.
Collapse	string	`Phone`	`Phone`, `Tablet`	With Collapse you can decide when the menu transforms into a mobile menu. With a mobile menu, the horizontal menu collapses and the vertical menu goes off-canvas.
MinWidth Horizontal menu only	number	"140"	any value	Allows you to set the minimum width for subitems. If any other string is supplied, or if the `MinWidth` parameter is omitted, the default value of `140px` is used.
MaxWidth Horizontal menu only	number	not specified	any value	Allows you to set the minimum width for subitems. If any other string is supplied, or if the `MaxWidth` parameter is omitted, the default value of `250px` is used.
MaxColumns Mega menu only	number	not specified	any value	Allows you to control the number of columns displayed in the Mega menu. Ideal for Mega menus with several subitems. If any other string is supplied, or if the `MaxColumns` parameter is omitted, the submenu will be displayed in a single row.
MaxLinks Horizontal menu only	number	not specified	any value	Allows you to set a max number of items on the menu. The remaining items will hide inside a collapsible submenu.

If you have downloaded your theme prior to the launch of the new menu, you might need to update its version to the new x.x.x.12 version, which includes the new BindMENU - more details on the new version here.
